Key environmental initiatives

85% of UK & Ireland operations have 100% energy tariffs

We use renewable electricity, implement LED lighting, and utilise telematics in logistics – increasing efficiency and reducing carbon emissions.

Zero waste to landfill

Our Burton-on-Trent facility, including manufacturing and distribution, diverts 100% of its waste from landfill.

Recycled & lightweight packaging

We mirror Holland & Barrett’s initiative with preference to use packaging containing at least 80% recycled plastic.

Sustainable paper practices

In 2020, we made paper receipts optional in our stores and we only use FSC certified recycled paper and card across for our online deliveries.

Water conservation

Our Burton distribution centre recycles the water used to wash our lorries.
